Well, here we are.  Snow day #3.  Here's the downside of being in a 75,000 student district that covers a very large county.  I live in the southern half of the county.  It's nice and dry here.  In the northern half of the county, they're at a much higher elevation which means it's still very icy.  You see, there's this little town in the northern half of our county called Joelton.  We usually love Joelton because we can always count on them for a snow day.  Seriously, the county will be clear and Joelton will be slick so we all get a day off.  We don't do delays so it's all or nothing.  Normally I'm pulling for ya,  Joelton, but not today.  I wanted to have purple glittery hair for wild hair day.  Sad. Day.

Well, my snow day is your gain people!  I've got two freebies for you and an awesome collaboration opportunity!  So here ya go!

This week was supposed to be piggy week for us.  Scratch that.  Next week will be piggy leprechaun week...I created some freebies for piggy week that I wanted to share!  These will be a perfect addition to any lesson or unit on the three little pigs!

I get a lot of questions about Pinterest and if I can add people to collaborative boards.  Sadly, I am not on any boards where I have the power (He-Man reference..."I HAVE THE POWER!")  to add people.  Well, I am so lucky and blessed to have such amazing friends and readers that I want to share that blessing.  So, here we go.

I have kicreated a collaborative Pinterest board that you're all welcome to join.  Here's how it works.  I'll add you to the board and you can pin to the board.  Right now the board has over 4,500 followers.  I would love to see that number grow because the board becomes full of amazing content and ideas (NO PRODUCTS!)!  And the more we share and promote the board, the more followers it will have.

Now, my idea for this blog is that it becomes a go to board for teachers who need easy to implement, cheap or free ideas, activities, tips and resources.  This is not a place to market your TPT products.  I am hoping we can pin original content from our own blogs, our own Pinterest, our own classrooms and other areas.  Don't have a blog?  That's cool.  You can snap a picture and upload it to the board.  Remember, ideas that teachers can easily use and implement!!!

Here are the rules:

I will delete any Pins that don't fit the mission of the board or follow the rules.  If there is a repeat violator, they will be removed.  But I know we're all professionals so let's make this board EPIC for teachers!

If you would like to be added, simple click on the picture of the rules and fill out the form.  I will get you added ASAP!

Happy Pinning!
