People, my summer is OVER. Today was our first official day back to work. Teachers reported for in-service. We have 3 more days of in-service before the kiddos come storming the building!
I have been hard at work getting my room ready. I have also been hard at work on the credit card. OUCH! Since I know we're all on a budget, I loved this idea for using balloons to decorate. HELLO CHEAP!!!!!
Ya see, I had some lanterns up but needed something on the other side of the room. Since the credit card is broken, I needed a cheap alternative.
Try this: replace paper lanterns ($$$) with balloons! TRUTH!
I love that you can get any color you want. I love that they bring a sense of fun and whimsy to the classroom. I also love that it was a quick, easy CHEAP way to bring another pop of color into my classroom!
I have no idea where I found this...I know I saw it on Pinterest but I cannot find the pin. If you know where this idea came from, let me know!
You need balloons and marbles. All available at the dollar store for $1. See...couple of bucks and you can decorate! CHEAP! FUN! WHIMSY!
All I did was put a marble into the balloon before I blew it up.
Blow up the balloon. Tie it. Add some fishing line and hang from the ceiling. BAM!
Cheap alternative to more pricey paper lanterns!
