Happy Thursday! So... a little about my day.
Student 1 was desperate for my attention. He was patting me in the sensitives. True story. I might have been violated.
Student 2 comforted me by patting my head when I got a little...um...uh...flabbergasted with my friend "fire drill." Speaking of Fire Drill, today we had a tornado drill and she planted her self face down on her stomach during the drill. Not the duck and cover safe position, but flat on her face. And then she rubbed my hairy arms and said "you hairy like a lion!" AND THEN...people, she's a non-stop barrell of fun. And my favorite...no, I don't have favorites...honest....AND THEN during our rainy day dismissal...I was going to walk her to her car with the umbrella...but no ma'am, she wasn't having it. She ran (in front of most of my teaching colleagues....) and did a full on dive into the backseat of the car. And that was my day. Oh and I left my power cord to my laptop at school. So I am creating this post with my iPhone and the mister's ancient Dell desktop! I even had this amazing post planned to show you all how I do the pieces of my literacy block and how I get it all in! SAD DAY!
And rainy day dismissal=wet Greggy!

Ya'll know how much I love to get my art on with the 'staches, so I loaded up on art supplies! Those tissue paper squares are the best thing ever. OK..glitter is the best...but those tissue paper squares are so awesome for tissue paper mosaics. Think Mr. Seahorse...pumpkins...apples...
Who doesn't love large foam dice?!?! I can't wait to put these in our math tubs!!! And they're foam which means QUIET! As a bonus to the fun and silence, the large dots will make it easier for the little fingers to count the dots!!! And I am all about praising my students and having them be recognized for their genius (true story...they're all geniuses!) so I ordered the badge holders to use as recognition lanyards. I will make cards with academic achievements such as " I know all of my sounds!" and they can wear them around all day and be recognized!
And shape stickers...you always need shape stickers! Think K for kite during the end of the year alphabet countdown!
People, you know it was coming. SPARKLES! Since I have half of a cabinet of glitter (I am not a glitter hoarder...I am a Glitter Doomsday Prepper...in the event of a glitter-pocalypse I want to be prepared) I decided I need to stock up sequins! They're so colorful and sparkly!
And finally...
MUSTACHE PENCILS! Nuff said.
So...who wants to win a $25 Oriental Trading gift card???????? That's right! $25 for you to spend at Oriental Trading!
It's yet another awesome give away as part of the two week Greg-Tacular Birthday Glitter-nanza!!!
